502 N 9th Street, Temple TX 76501

About the Project:

This 1955-built home was designed by local architect Bill Chamlee , with a floorplan so perfect we hardly changed anything. Thru the years, the home fell into complete disrepair and was scheduled for demolition by the city. Trees had grown into the house, knocking off the front part of the roof.

What makes this project special:

This is one of the most prominent and attractive homes as you enter Temple’s (TX) historic district coming from the south. The bones of the house are terrific and the architecture is incredible. Due to the extensive nature of the rehab, this project nearly broke us, and has been our greatest teacher. We are proud that we were able to bring back to life such a prominent and important home.
