About the Project:

We came across this gorgeous mid-century gem when trying to buy the neighbors house 9 months prior. Fast forward— a little birdie told us the owners were looking to sell so we got in touch with them immediately. The home is mid-renovation with an open floor plan, a kitchen squarely in the middle of the house overlooking the back room and a wall of windows overlooking the pool. It’s a blank slate and we are honored to be able to deliver on the full potential of this home.

What makes this project special:

The home is located in Western Trails, just south of 71/290/Ben White Blvd, between Manchaca and West Gate. The neighborhood is one of our absolute favorites with large lots, majestic Oak and Pecan trees, and exceptionally built late 50’s & early 60’s homes. With easy access to freeways and South Austin’s Central Market, the location is hard to beat. And because the homes are so well built, this is the perfect neighborhood for a Rebuild project.

The current home is a 2000 SF 3 bedroom 2 bath. We’ll add a full master suite on the right side of the house, creating a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home at just under 2500 SF. Our vision is Mediterranean meets Mid-Century Modern. We feel a real sense of duty to bring a rare 2000+ Western Trails home, with a pool, to its full potential.
